Soy Lucía Bustabad, profesora, escritora y tutora de idiomas.
Comencé mi carrera como profesora hace 16 años en una universidad de Indiana, Estados Unidos, donde impartí clases de español y participé en el diseño, gestión y evaluación de cursos. Aquella experiencia me permitió trabajar junto a grandes profesionales en la enseñanza del español e inglés como segundas lenguas. Me siento muy afortunada de haber aprendido tanto de ellos y de haber desarrollado una mentalidad abierta que me ayuda a adaptarme con facilidad a distintas formas de vivir y trabajar.
Desde entonces, me he dedicado por completo a la enseñanza de ambos idiomas y he
creado mi propia plataforma online.
Aprender es una de mis grandes pasiones, y esa curiosidad me ha llevado a ejercer mi
profesión en lugares tan inspiradores como el sur de Asi. Durante diez años, tuve la
oportunidad de enseñar en cuatro países de tres continentes, incluyendo Estados Unidos, Nepal, India y España. Una experiencia que me enfrentó a retos y, sobre todo, me enseñó el valor de la comunicación práctica y auténtica en cualquier idioma.
Uno de los logros que más me enorgullecen es haber formado a más de 1.000 alumnos y haber impartido más de 5.000 clases de español e inglés. En mis clases, me adapto a cada estudiante, centrándome en la comunicación del día a día para que se sientan n seguros y brillen en todo lo que hagan.
Hoy continúo disfrutando de este camino de aprendizaje. Actualmente soy profesora independiente de español e inglés, gestiono mi propia plataforma y ofrezco clases presenciales y online a estudiantes de todo el mundo. Mi meta es que cada alumno se sienta inspirado, confiado y capaz de comunicarse con naturalidad en el idioma que aprende.
I’m Lucía Bustabad, a teacher, writer, and language tutor.
I began my teaching career 16 years ago at a university in Indiana, USA, where I taught Spanish and was involved in designing, managing, and evaluating courses. That experience allowed me to work alongside amazing professionals in the field of Spanish and English as second languages. I feel very fortunate to have learned so much from them and to have developed an open mindset that helps me adapt easily to different ways of living and working.
Since then, I have devoted myself entirely to teaching both languages and have created this online teaching platform.
Learning has always been one of my greatest passions, and that curiosity has taken me to teach in inspiring places in South Asia. Over the past ten years, I have had the opportunity to teach in four countries across three continents- including USA, Nepal, India and Spain. An experience that challenged me but, above all, taught me the value of practical, real-life communication in any language.
One of the achievements I’m most proud of is having taught over a 1.000 students and delivered more than 5.000 Spanish and English classes. In my lessons, I adapt to each student, focusing on everyday communication so they feel confident and shine in everything they do.
Today, I continue to enjoy this journey of constant learning. I work independently as a Spanish and English teacher, manage my own platform, and offer both in-person and online classes to students around the world. My goal is for every student to feel inspired, confident, and capable of communicating naturally in the language they are learning.
